Due to an ingenious layout, large openings and big glass area, the Jeanneau 855 is a notably spacious vessel.
Entry to the boat is via swim platform and starboard transom door. Aboard the cockpit has deep sides, and once the outboards are lowered and the aft bench and transom slid back cushions, sunpad can be deployed. Alternatively a table can be set uo for al fresco dining. There is an opening hatch in the cockpit sole with some storage above the fuel tank.
The 855 has asymmetric side decks, the starboard being the wider. Guard rails mounted outboard give more width. The foredeck is expansive, and large sunpads can be set up. Anchor locker has enough space for rode and a couple of fenders.
A large glass rear door gives passage between saloon and cockpit.
Located forward, the owner's stateroom has a centerline island double berth that has easy access to both sides - Berth converts from 5'9" in length when not in use to provide more space in the cabin; at night, it converts to 6'8" in length!. Under-berth stowage (and access to bow thruster), hanging locker to port and stowage drawers. Ambient light via two large side windows and more light and ventilation via opening hatch (with blind). Teak sole.
Located port side, midships, the guest cabin offers standing room in the entrance area and a double berth that comfortably fits two adults,
There is a separate head compartment located starboard side, midship with a sink and vanity, manual Jabsco head, and shower. Storage cubbies behind the head area and a small stowage locker. Air conditioned.
Three stepped companionway leads up to the wheelhouse with helmstation and bolstered captains seat to starboard. The door alongside the driving seat gives quick access to the foredeck when berthing.
The dinette area to port offers seating that converts to provide a forward facing seat for passengers while underway, it also converts to double berth large enough for two people.

All the compartments are well lit artificially, and via large windows in the hull. Full interior curtains for privacy and solar protection. The interior is air conditioned.
The hatches have both sun shades and insect screens. Headroom is mostly over six foot.
