Now launched and at her dock, It's About Time is a meticulously  maintained example of this internationally regarded design. The beamy Tiara 4100 Express is built on a modified-V hull with a shallow keel and prop pockets lowering  the shaft angles and reducing draft. The full sized engine room with twin 435 HP Caterpillar 3208 diesels (1123 hours on the port and 1134 on the starboard engine) is under the bridge deck with easy access.  The interior features forward cabin with island folding table-berth, a well equipped galley, a spacious main saloon with a settee/dinette area. The upper cockpit has the helm station to starboard with  double-wide helm seat, portside a L-shaped lounge .  Her lower cockpit has full fishing amenities   including a tuna door, washdown, and aft-facing seat.  Electronics feature a multifunction2020 Garmin GPS Map XSV, radar (2020). New gel batteries (2021), reconditioned props (2021), new davits (2021).  It's About Time's  9 kW genset is yet to be installed fully. A/C needs coolant so not running yet .

Accommodations and layout

Forward is the master stateroom with queen pedestal berth with quilt and shams with storage compartments under. Two hanging lockers. Shelving outboard shelves, port and starboard. There is an overhead hatch and portlights port and starboard for ambient light and ventilation. Also air conditioning controls, valance lighting and a TV with remote. Overhead hatch with screen, opening portlights.

The bi-fold privacy door in forward bulkhead leads into the main saloon. To port is dinette with maple and cherry table and L shaped sofa with storage compartments below. This converts to a berth. TV with remote mounted on aft bulkhead. 

To port is the head/shower that can be entered via stateroom or saloon. With: upper linen storage locker with pull-out storage basket,, Vacu-flush toilet with 50 gallon holding tank
There is molded marble countertop with integrated sink and storage below. Full separate fiberglass shower stall, bi-fold glass shower door, integrated seat, and shower sump pump. Also an exhaust fan.

The galley abaft the head to starboard features: Corian countertop, a stainless steel double sink with cover and hot/cold faucet, recessed EuroKera two-burner glass/ceramic electric cooktop, built-in Black and Decker coffee maker, and  Panasonic Microwave convection oven. There is also an upright Norcold AC/DC refrigerator and freezer. For stowage there is upper dish and provisions lockers, two utensil drawers and under counter storage compartments.

Oversized (power) helm seat forward with wet bar aft, drink holders, and a top loading insulated cooler. To port a curved companion seat with insulated cooler, storage, drink holders, and a hand rail. Engine room entry from cockpit and bridge deck.

Aft facing cockpit lounge. Transom door to starboard leads to swim platform, stainless steel swim ladder and St Croix davits (new 2021).

Hull and deck equipment

The 4100  is built on a modified-V hull, 17.5 degrees deadrise at transom with a shallow keel. The prop pockets lower the shaft angles and reduce draft. Composite stringers integrated to hull. It's About Time has white gel coat, gold and black boot stripes. Bottom painted (mulitiseason) 2020, touched up 2021. The stainless steel is top quality 316L.
