1989 Catalina 34

This 1989 Catalina 34 “Tall Rig” is now on the market as other interests have reduced the amount of time the sellers have to use the boat. The Catalina 34 had seen several significant evolutions during its production. This version has the keel stepped mast and auxiliary power is provided by a 23 HP Universal 25XP diesel. This boat is NOT the wing keel model.

This boat is 34’6” overall; the waterline is 29’10”; the beam is 11’9”; the draft is 5’7”. Standing headroom is about 6’1”. The sails include a fully battened Mainsail and a 110% furling genoa. The sails are reported to be in good condition. Dousing the main is made easier with the Lazy Jack System. A whisker pole is included.

The Universal Diesel is original to the boat and currently shows 1250 hours of use.

Electronics and navigation equipment include a compass, a Standard Horizon VHF as well as a handheld VHF, and a Garmin 440SX GPS/Chartplotter. The vessel is equipped with a radio and CD player.

Entering the interior of the boat one finds the galley to starboard and head to port. Aft of the galley on the starboard side is a very spacious aft cabin. Forward of the galley is the main salon with dinette to starboard and ample comfortable seating on port and starboard settees. The dinette can be lowered providing sleeping accommodations for two on the starboard side. Forward of the main salon is the v berth.

“It’s All Good” has been well maintained in the hands of the sellers. The brightwork is due for some attention. This sailboat is a great value for those sailors looking to move up to the next level or those looking to downsize without giving up creature comforts down below.
